Jan Saddler

Jan Saddler is an exceptional and experienced class actions leader with more than 30 years’ experience as a solicitor in complex, multi-party litigation.

Jan passionately believes in the right of all Australians to have access to justice and compensation and is dedicated to ensuring that class actions play a central role in that objective.

Jan’s deep knowledge of class actions practice across the financial services, product liability, human rights and environmental spheres, together with her expert negotiating and project management skills, position her as a leader in this field. In 2022 Jan’s legal skill, business acumen and client-focused initiatives were recognised when she was named the Lawyers Weekly inaugural Class Actions Partner of the Year.

As Managing Director of JGA Saddler Jan will lead with empathy, discipline and drive. Jan will be responsible for the strategic direction of the business but above all else, she will be responsible for ensuring that our clients’ cases are strong, conducted with vigour and efficiency and that outcomes are maximised for each client and group member.

Prior to the formation of JGA Saddler, Jan was the head of one of Australia’s leading class actions practices, with a team of almost 100 people.

Jan is a member of the Law Council of Australia.
